Advisory Committees
The Texas Department of Motor Vehicles (TxDMV) is looking for individuals interested in serving as members on one of its five new advisory committees. Advisory committees provide recommendations to the TxDMV Board and Executive Director on rules and policy issues related to the TxDMV.

The links below guide to the TxDMV rules that are proposed for amendment or have been recently amended, and to the procedures for a resident of Texas, a business entity located in Texas, a governmental subdivision located in Texas, or a public or private organization located in Texas that is not a state agency to petition TxDMV for the adoption of a rule or rule change.
