The San Antonio Police Department has joined forces with the Bexar County Sheriff's Office and the Texas Department of Public Safety to form the Regional Auto Crimes Team (ReACT). This multi-jurisdictional unit combines resources to reduce operating costs and increase inter-agency communication. By combining all of these factors, ReACT works as a team to proactively reduce the number of auto burglaries and thefts in the San Antonio metropolitan area.
